Actually it’s a GOOD thing Moomins never caught on in America, because if they had, you know by now some big Hollywood studio would have grabbed the rights and Snufkin would be pro-cop by the end of the movie and he’d be voiced by Chris Pratt.
Snufkin canonically hating cops and actively sabotaging them is one reason Moomins is better than the vast majority of ‘mainstream’ American media.
