Iran launched drones towards vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday night, according to Fox News and Reuters.
"It appears Iran has attempted to strike commercial ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz tonight. US forces shot down two Iranian one-way attack drones," a U.S. official said.
