Watching some folks in my industry trip over themselves to dogpile this lady to essentially say "shut up & dribble" has been so disappointing & it's the exact reason why so many below-the-line folks fear publicly talking about exploitive work conditions.
So, i looked it up, and Cousin Itt first appeared in the Addams Family show in February 1965, after appearing in a 1963 Charles Addams cartoon.
I kinda wonder if Magritte actually saw the show (did it even air in Belgium??) or cartoon panel, or if it's just parallel thinking.
