This week’s Micrometeorite Monday: another nice S-type cosmic spherule from the Atacama! This rare glass (V)-type specimen is composed almost entirely of silicate glass, formed at extremely high temperatures and cooled too quickly to recrystallize into silicate minerals ☄️
