I’ve been playing this recently and it is SO GOOD. Sometimes you have to be methodical, and sometimes it all gets too much and you just have to make the best call you can and hope for the best. And all the while the game just keeps on surprising you.

Very excited for this. Jirel of Joiry was sword & sorcery’s 1st heroine, lavishly written by C L Moore. But Moore only wrote a handful of stories about her, so getting a whole new novella from someone with a real ear for the character is a treat. Plus, New Edge make beautiful, great-smelling books.
Gmail just advertised a “cozy empire building game” at me and now my fragile spirit hath flit this mortal realm.

The government continuing to post on X gives the media all they need to justify continuing to use X posts in news broadcasts. X becomes agenda-setting in the way front pages did even when most people stopped reading newspapers.
