I also feel incredibly guilty for not going to see him since he went into the nursing home a few months ago. But, ever since my mom died, I just have severe panic attacks anytime I walk into a hospital, nursing home, or funeral parlor. I wanted to go. I just...couldn't.
Shout out to the city of Cleveland for making sure its roads are always under construction but never actually get fixed.
Found out the family friend I took care of and kept alive all last year died yesterday. I know it was for the best that he went into the nursing home, because I couldn't be his sole caretaker anymore, but I feel guilty for not being there these past few months while he was fading away in the home.

I lettered four 200+ OGNs in two and a half months, on top of all of my normal monthly books, working nights and weekends in order to get everything done. Today was my first REAL day off since February and I cannot begin to tell you how lovely it was to not look at a computer screen all day.
Baked some lemon blueberry cookies this morning and they are just DELIGHTFUL.
