Keep him on variant covers like Frank Miller thay can be totally ignored. Having him on interior art or the Cover A is editorial malpractice.
Call it extreme if you like, but I propose we hit it hard and hit it fast with a major - and I mean major - leaflet campaign.

Rare case of Marvel actually listening. That ASM #1000 cover was *awful*, and if you want your premiere title to sell, you need to move on from guys like Romita Jr for interiors or main covers.
