Depiction is a better artistic methodology than metaphor and analogy, imo. Myrmidon isn't an analogy for ableism and child abuse, it's a depiction of it. Anguish isn't a metaphor for colonialism and fascism, it depicts them. People gotta stop couching their critique behind proxies
