This is so incredibly sickening. This government has robbed people with disabilities of their dignity and basic life necessities while spending millions on a referendum on a laundry list of unconstitutional questions.
Entirely and consummately heartless.

This is a five alarm emergency. And no speech full of platitudes or principled editorial is going to help. There need to be consequences for being anti-social misinformed bigots who are deliberately trying to rip apart the Canada that already exists.
At this point why not just boycott the World Cup completely.

If true, I have serious concerns about this being a war crime.
Under the laws of armed conflict:
Proportionality: the military advantage has to outweigh the anticipated civilian harm.
Hard to see what military advantage would outweigh robbing 20k people of drinking water.
