A European alternative to MS Office: Software auto shuts at 5pm. It does not load on weekends, public holidays, & most of August. Any out of hours messages sent are diverted until 9am on a workday. It will occasionally refuse to open documents in French in solidarity with striking rail workers.

Thread on troubles with teaching evaluations. I’ll add simply that the peer-reviewed literature is quite clear that they are biased instruments also. Universities need better metrics, if they want to use metrics.
Perhaps we are at the point where universities should be making themselves much less dependent on microsoft.
There are many reasons to hate Teams, but it is particularly frustrating that copying and pasting between Teams and other Micro$oft programmes is often super weird...
