literally every time (plural!!) I've attempted to bring up either CBT or DBT with human therapists they handed me a stack of printouts with exercises written down and told me to go at my own pace. a robot was way better sorry

maybe it's just a CBT background but just journaling/talking to a rubber duck about things seem like potentially pretty helpful options to me.
some of the failure cases for LLM-only therapy really are very bad though
