As someone who hates New York and its hordes of solipsistic inhabitants like Hell itself, and whose team got run off the floor by the Knicks, I still find them kinda likeable. Either that or I'm just that scared of Wemby.
This is also clearly being made more acute by "Knicks for clicks" losers and companies like the prediction markets that are unfortunately really good at capitalizing on it. (Bsky is alive Knicks in five etc)

Believe I can now pull rank on anyone else's "missed the sports moment because they were on a plane without wifi" story
Michael Baumann
There is strong evidence that we are having a national Knicks Moment the likes of which we never see in pro sports. It obviously feels that way on a microblogging site that's 90% New York and Philly people somehow, but I think it's more than that slate.com/culture/2026...
We don't want to pull Sorsby out of a structured environment!
OK cool, the ask is just that you don't let him play games for your football team
Ordered fries for the table in Japan. This is the portion size. Such a pleasure to be in one of the world's great nations

New @splitzoneduo.com: 26 transfer portal players we're really interested in for 2026. (It just worked out like that tbh.) Very much NOT just reading the top of the player rankings. Guys who are interesting in other ways. Watch the video 10 times and subscribe! www.youtube.com/watch?v=twxA...
There is a level of playing dumb about this that I think goes past cutesy bullshit and reaches the level of being intellectually insulting. The ask from *some* Texas Tech people is for everyone to just pretend they're really stupid
The level of cynicism is just breathtaking to try to sneak in this fallacy that you can only help the guy's fight vs. addiction if he's QB of your football team. Have some shame please
