The surprise, for my dad, was my putting together a new copy of the plane we flew together when I was about my daughter’s age. The plane I first solo’d with him.
We hadn’t flown one of these in several decades. Put a huge smile on his face.

Stayed up late prepping gear to spend the day tomorrow, with my dad, at an event for our lifelong shared hobby (r/c planes).
Now I’m wiped out but will still have to get up to actually enjoy the day. 😅😅
