The death of text is absolutely maddening for me! Speaking is around 50-60 words per minute slower than the average reading speed. Video production is also so complicated and slow compared to writing. The information density can never match text. Gah!

the main problem with video as a format is that it's too slow at dispensing information. I can read much faster than you can talk and there's no way you can address this without becoming incomprehensible to most of the audience.
