Note: no "T. rex cells" were used for this. Collagen sequences synthesized from osteological collagen from a Tyrannosaurus fossil were used. The resultant artificial leather lacks the actual microstructures that would have been present in actual T. rex skin. But biotechbros gotta biotech.
