🏛🪵 A wooden structure that may have been a Roman bridge has been found at the River Meuse in West Maas en Waal, Netherlands. The oak timbers have been dated to the 4th century AD, and are thought to have been foundation piles from a Late Roman river crossing. open.substack.com/pub/historyh...
