to me hack-a is the defensive version of flopping, it is technically legal and teams should exploit it as a result but as a case of basketball ethics, it is wrong
it's funny how the spurs are held up as this example of how unfair it can be when a team tanks when they wanted to compete last season but had to shut wemby down like three games after they acquired fox with an eye on making a playoff push
