Today is a good day to notice the trees.
Wow. As of 10:15 on the last day of filing, there are 15 Senate Districts and 29 House Districts where no Republican has filed. By contrast, there are DFLers running in every single one.
Serving my constituents, my conscience, and my calling will always be more important than serving my party, and Lord knows Democrats have work to do to get our house in order, but we saw with our own eyes who we are and who they are. And I am proud to be on the right team.
At the Republican convention, they let the most unhinged element rule the day with their endorsements, spread conspiracy theories, and held a moment of silence for a living murderer whose deliberate choice led to some of the darkest days in our state's history.

At our @dfl.org convention, we endorsed dedicated public servants who are driven and passionate about winning and using that power to make things better, we made changes to open our party processes up to more people, and we paused to honor those we've lost who made a positive impact on MNans.
