In the last webinar on #FisheriesBycatch we learned about the work being carried out by Catchwise #MarineGuardian with AI to reduce bycatch and improve fishing efficiency, through a decision support tool for skippers built on live fishing activity, historical catch data and oceanographic conditions

Last Friday we learnt from Lola Riesgo (CSIC-IEO) about the methodology developd for modelling probabilitay areas of occurrance of #bycatch of Mobulidae in the Tropical Atlantic, whether at the species level or the population level, and how the results can be applied for management purposes.
