In places it is quite dry, and the Williams ambush, when it comes in 1985, somewhat lacks drama. For a more engaging version of the same tale, I'd highly recommend the podcast series When We Were Wizards: www.instagram.com/whenwewerewi.... That also tackles a few more of the human interest angles.
