Republicans are cognizant of this ableist, misogynistic treatment and weaponize it and liberals hating disable folk so much don’t counter it with even talking about meeting the needs of mamas and disabled folk, that is how God depraved and Nazi like this society is.

All of this gives context to the pursuit of preventing disabled people from being born. There ain’t no meaningful difference for the disabled community between forced sterilizations, forced abortions in providing bigoted, abled people the ability to create designer babies free of disabilities.
Ableist bigotry is so vile that able bodied people deny themselves further ease and comfort just to torture disabled folk. So many of the things that disabled people need e.g. the right to work from home, pull out shelving benefit everyone. Many disabled folk could work with real support.
The entire debate about curing Disabilities is always in the context of the brutal oppression of disabled people. Abled bodied people make the lives of disabled people so terrible so as to coerce is into committing suicide. Disabled people are among the most socially murdered people on the planet!
People who cannot be reliably, trusted to not to block or take handicap spots. People who cannot be reliably, trusted to not interrogate disabled people about whether or not they really are disabled.
Should never have the power to decide whether an entire group of disabled people exist or not!
This was a murder not of the personal kind we sometimes prosecute, but the social kind we don’t ever. Even if we were dirt poor, the poorest nation there’s no justification for people to be without a home.
Women’s bodily autonomy aint a justification for a society to play God; note that I said for a society to play god. Ableist violence is directed at women to encourage em to have abortions, to choose gene editing because they are told constantly, their child will be tortured and it’ll be their fault.
Anytime a cure is offered there is always a threat of violence for saying no. Disable people are denied the basic human right of making a free choice. To a degree (as in there are some differences) we’re like rape victims who are threatened with further violence if we don’t go along with it.
This is eugenics! This is human beings, trying to play God to purify the bloodlines
