AC Transit is facing a projected 4-year, $200 million budget shortfall. If no new funding is secured, service reductions of up to 16% could begin in June 2027. The AC Transit Board of Directors will review a proposed "Contingency Service Plan" for possible service reductions on June 10 at 5 pm. 1/2
The Webster Tube will be closed from 10:00 p.m. on June 5 through 5:00 a.m. on June 6. During the closure, Alameda-bound trips on Lines 19, 30, 51A, 96, O, and 851 will use the Park Street Bridge instead of the Webster Tube, increasing travel times by about 15 minutes.
