The buzzy success of multiple horror things right now — Widow’s Bay! Obsession! Backrooms! and that’s just right now! — should be a message to film/TV folks to set their sights on the bevy of excellent horror novels out there. I say this selfishly as a writer, sure, but also as a reader of them!
