Forest loss dropped sharply last year, yet primary forests are still disappearing at an alarming rate. Major nations are making progress, but smaller forest-rich countries are losing trees faster than ever.
To end deforestation by 2030, the world must move beyond relying on favorable weather.
And a note of caution not to misinterpret our good news & optimistic findings....
Given the current deforestation rate, changing climate and vast landscapes where forests ecosystems have been completely destroyed!
