I might leave Missingno's effects up to a dice roll as a form of nerf.
The glitching mass shifts constantly as it eats away at the world around it... It passes over a Caterpie and now there's hundreds swarming the area, each one broken and glitchy like the thing that created them.
The glitch just continues to eat away at the trees, seemingly mindless in its actions as the trees warp and twist into ever-more-esoteric materials and textures.

The extra-unstable mess of a living glitch continues to spread outward, mindless in its movements as everything around it is glitched beyond recognition.
This is a REALLY glitchy... well, glitch.
It keeps stretching outward as it consumes everything in the area and reduces it to an equally glitchy mess, like some kind of garbage data grey goo.
It keeps flickering between multiple forms... Some garbage data and some the skeletal shapes of actual Pokémon.
