Nightdive acquitted themselves brilliantly with their System Shock 2 remaster and this looks just as meticulous and considered.
So many remasters fail to convey the ingenuity of artistic decisions under technical constraints or alter the fundamental visual intent. Nightdive's effort understood the idiosyncrasies of a quarter-century old project's art direction and excelled at its own language.

I don't care how long I must wait for this. ðŸ˜
PIGFACE (2025).
One of the beautifully decrepit and abject games I've played.
From the demo of About Fishing (2026).
Long I've wished for a game that would take some occupation or activity simulator — trucking or chess, say — and surround it with an entire person's history of being. Here there's also a surreal mystery thriller.
It's one of the best demos I've played.
System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster (2025).
One of the greatest games ever made receives a definitive remaster, meticulous and faithful to a level that is utterly remarkable. I can't recommend this more to existing devotees or those merely curious alike.
