Monday night’s brutal knife attack rightly drew universal censure. We are now seeing a pattern of coordinated far right activists hijacking tragic and emotive incidents to incite violence against migrants and minoritised communities.
I've signed this letter urging the government to ban trade with illegal Israeli settlements.
Such a ban is long overdue. Letting trade continue amid an ongoing genocide and escalating violence is inexcusable.
We also need a comprehensive sanctions regime against Israel.
Last night, I joined @stwc.bsky.social protesters outside Downing Street to stand with the people of Palestine, Lebanon and Iran.
The government must do everything in its power to pressure the US and Israel to end their wars of aggression in the Middle East.
