That's pretty much all I use an AI assistant on my phone or tablet for, and Google Assistant did that without bugging me.

Goddammit I just went to set an alarm on my tablet, only to discover that Google Assistant — which came when I long-pressed the Home button, listened to what I said then, and went away afterward — had been deprecated in favor of fucking Gemini, which reserves the right to read my DNA or some shit
