Finally finished this delightful game focused book by @timclare.bsky.social Enjoyed the historical (well researched) looks at older games as well as the dip into other cultures and modern games, with really great analysis of what games are and what makes them great. Recommend 👍
You know what, I'm incredibly grateful for the Playtest UK team! It's full of great people who volunteer, and it helps facilitate the development of games by some incredibly creative and talented people. If you ever get the opportunity to check them out, test a game, please do!

In games news, we finally got the turtles to the table!
Sadly, Shredder (particularly his blasted foot clan) were too much for Raphael, Geralt and Shakespeare to handle and we lost, but what a fun ride.
