FFIX is one of the very best FF games, and if you've ever wanted a place to jump into the classic games of the series, this would be a great way to do so. if the turn-based gameplay doesn't suit you, the Steam version has built-in tools like fast forward and autoleveling to make that a non-issue

also, i just want to say- a lot of the older FF games in this sale have built-in cheats to get to level 99 or what have you... there's no shame in using those tools, if you want to experience the story of these classic games, but you're not super into the grindy old school gameplay! do it! be free!
