I think Dr Who has needed a bit of a kick up the arse in recent years, while I've enjoyed it, it never felt as fresh or exciting as those 9/10/11 years
So a modern Wilderness Years IMO is no bad thing, look at the spark of creativity we got during it, the VNA's, Big Finish,
Bernice Summerfield, Missing Adventures.
And then we got '05 and the creativity that the modern era gave us, with people who had been involved in the era where the show never looked like it was coming back
