Following 2 sieges of Sudeley Castle in the Civil War it was ordered to be slighted. Depositions by 5 craftsmen, signed off by 2 judges, stated that it had been destroyed. New tree ring analysis, carried out by GHBG & funded by us, says differently. Learn more: castlestudiestrust.org/blog/2026/06...
