Not trying to both-sides this, because Trump is objectively worse in every way, but... Obama and Biden both detained and deports a LOT of people, too. They could have shut down ICE and ended this, and neither did. Democrats keep laying the groundwork for the fascists that follow them.
There is no defense for remaining on Twitter that doesn't ultimately boil down to "I like my follower count there."
