sometimes i draw generic characters with unique body types to fulfill a certain niche and i think at some point i should just turn them into ocs lol like the ferret(?) character i sketched was one of them, like, i didn't have a character in m,ind i just wanted to draw that type of creature .
anyway i'm making it sound like these are established characters begging to be revealed but the reality is that most of them have like 1-3 sketches attached to them and that's it AND like half of the sketches are nsfw like calm down i haven't even made the character yet and im already doing that
also i have another character that's like one of those round-bodied chibi dragons because i like that type of dragon design and uhhh also they're like the thickest character i've ever made in terms of proportions and it's kinda insane i'm wondering if i should tone it down lol
also this isn't a bad thing i'm just saying like i never thought of Lumi as a thick character so this is literally just a thing i gave her subconsciously i guess
also i will post the wip thing
i'm trying to make an actually good ref sheet ALSO this took forever, i never draw characters standing and looking straight ahead for reference purposes, so this drawing is a product of HOURS OF BRUTE FORCE OHH MY GOD idk when i'll finish this
i have another that's like a big cat but like i mean a bit fluffy house cat ,they have so much fur that their neck isn't visible idk how to describe it.. ALSO they're based on my palico from the mh wilds beta because i love long haired palicoes (how do you spell palico plural? palicos? palicoes?)
LIKE I SPENT AN HOUR JUST LOOKING AT THE LEGS LIKE THEY LOOK WRONNNGGGGGG and now they're fine and perfect and dandy !! also i never realized how thick my oc is like damn? .i mean they're not super thick but like if you strip down the character to just the body outline they look very.. shortstack???
