Good point. What does Musk actually provide consumers? A handful of Cybertrucks? The original Roadsters are not his work. He litigated the founders until they said he was a founder too, even though he wasn't. And SpaceX, Boring Co, xAI are all faith-based valuations based on the future.

I am no economist, but this thread encapsulates everything I think about Musk and valuation. Why is the world's richest man not the one whose service delivers half the crap or makes most of the phones, or made the bad OS that runs most computers, or the search engine that dominates Earth?
