Watching all this soccer has taught me one thing. It all looks alike except for the jerseys. I'm actually bored. This isn't for me. Not one game has looked different from another.
I'm pissed at the lack of urgency from my sisters. One gets a small pass because her superstar scholar son graduated yesterday. The other is just giving me armchair advice on the phone instead of driving 5 hours from Raleigh. After 10 days, I'm home. Rehab will take care or her for a month.

I've been a little quiet. Last Wednesday, my 89yo mom fainted and fell face down onto a concrete floor. Her entire face was purple and red and swollen when I saw her in the ER. I gasped. She had a long deep gash on her forehead, broke her nose and broke her neck in 3 places.
I've been in a bit of a daze and just barely functioning these past 10 days. Fortunately, her spinal cord is fine and she has full mobility and strength. After an mri, the doctors decided to let the neck heal instead of fusion surgery. She's being transported to rehab tomorrow for a month.
