People use class terms in very different ways: If "working class" means "doesn't have a BA" and if that's the criterion, Platner is 100% working class. If it means "job is manual labor," he might also be. His parents had degrees & professional jobs, so his class *origin* isn't working class. +

again, Platner's grandfather is the architect who designed the "Windows on the World" restaurant in DC, his dad gave him $200,000 as a deposit for his house, and his oyster business sells primarily to his mom's three restaurants. gender makes people absolute fucking suckers.
