War drives profits while citizens pay the price. As fossil fuel giants cash in billions, Europeans are left struggling with rising energy costs. This isn’t our war and we shouldn’t pay for it. The path forward is clear: invest in clean, affordable energy, tax excessive profits, and protect citizens.

Today, the European Commission presented its Social Package. The Greens/EFA welcome this step in the right direction but call for more ambitious measures.
🌈 Great day for Europe‘s fundamental rights: The ECJ has ruled that Orbán‘s anti-LGBTI laws violate European democratic values such as equality 🇪🇺
It means the Commission must open infringement cases whenever a member state systemically breaches EU values.
