Wicked Lady's 1972 doomy psychedelic hard-rock classic "I'm a Freak" is a fantastic tune. Incredible that the band, together between 1968 and 1972, never released any material during their existence. Their aim was to be the "heaviest, loudest live band around".

VAR. No goal, referee had awarded the goal, 4 minute wait checking 'offside' bt VAR officials who then changed their argument against the goal to be 'hand ball check', which they finally went with. Which one was therefore the 'clear and obvious error' by the onfield officials?
"The Snake" from the Pink Fairies, Released on Polydor in 1971, combined psychedelia and proto-punk. The Fairies still make appearances, with Paul Rudolph still performing. Drummer Twink was also an actor, and later appeared in 'Allo 'Allo and Lovejoy.

The follow up to 1970's"Double Barrell" by Dave and Ansell Collins was "Monkey Spanner", which, although not hitting the number one spot reached seven in the 'Hit Parade' in Britain in 1971. A true Heavy Heavy Monster Sound!
