South Korea's former president has been convicted of ordering military drones to fly over North Korea in an attempt to escalate tensions and manufacture a pretext for declaring martial law.
A court ruled that Yoon Suk Yeol, the impeached former president, had sought to stir up instability to justify his bid for authoritarian rule in 2024.
