Dozens spoke in favor of repealing the adult bathhouse ban during city council hearings this week in Minneapolis. They focused on public health, tourism and city history.
After the hearing, Mayor Frey confirmed to MPR he’s in favor of repealing the ban, but says it’s not a top priority for him.

Over 30 people spoke at city hall today in favor of repealing the Minneapolis bathhouse ban. Council chambers were full and 50 people were in the overflow room, with a dozen waiting in the hallway. Buttons and posters were handed out. The ordinance advanced & the full council will vote next week.
