When I asked Wu if this was enough for an endorsement to Governor Maura Healey— who did NOT endorse the mayor in her last election— Wu said she has not had “conversations about involvement in the governor’s race.”
Today I asked Boston Mayor Michelle Wu what she thinks of Mike Minogue, GOP governor candidate.
“I do not know who that is,” she said.
Rather: she hadn’t heard of the former biotech exec before he launched his campaign.
He “doesn't seem to be tapped into reality” about Boston, she said @wbur.org
On Saturday, I followed the Tartan Army while Simón Rios embedded with Haiti fans. Our story @wbur.org shares their love of the game.
… Not in our story was the journey out of the stadium at 12 a.m. With little signage, fans struggled to reach trains & buses. I saw dozens slip through this fence.
The two have been firing shots at each other recently.
He said the mayor’s housing plan would just be “developing the next slum.”
Wu scoffed at that when @jimbraude.bsky.social asked about it, saying it sounded like “he’s afraid to be in downtown Boston.”
Then came this tweet from Minogue:
WHITE STADIUM COST: The city of Boston’s plan to rebuild White Stadium in Franklin Park will cost taxpayers $135 million, nearly three times as much as the city estimated for the project two years ago. Via @evezuckoff.bsky.social #mapoli www.wbur.org/news/2026/02...
Good listen here on what residents, biz leaders and lawmakers are saying about Wu's 2nd-term challenges. She needs to deliver, while continuing to battle Trump @wbur.org @evezuckoff.bsky.social

A spokesperson for the mayor tells @evezuckoff.bsky.social that Wu is going to church with her family instead.
