GREAT article. While I am excited to see original horror emerge outside of the studio system and then succeed, it mostly hails from young, cis, straight white men (or those who appear to be).
Give me the same story of horror box office success from a woman of colour over 50 who works two jobs!

Every year I host a “get ready for pride!” event at my branch— every year we receive abuse on social posts, flyers in branch get defaced, comment cards filled in, etc.
Write to your local library board to let them know you support pride events and you support the work of library staff.
I now work at a wonderful little branch on the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe reservation here in Washington state. Our whole staff is excited to show up and stand up for Pride! The Tribe is excited!
