Just saw Hokum and I reaaaaaaally wish Damien McCarthy had more trust in his audience 😭 like his movies are super awesome, but we don't need things explained to us like we're not paying attention… this was the worst in Oddity in the trap door-scene but Hokum also had these issues
Also the jumpscares in the beginning would've been 93732937% better without the loud ass sounds…. like I don't mind a jumpscare or two but they need to feel earned! Still a super fun spooky movie with amazing moments and super good atmosphere!

Ive said this before, but truly Val just needs to fuck the crazy out of Vox. Like he needs to top dom him AT LEAST once a month to keep his ego in check. You cant let him go around thinking he's a top. It goes to his head. I think Hell would genuinely benefit if Vox gets fucked to tears once a month
