Got bamboozled by the internet and bought the ugliest rug I’ve ever seen and am literally cry laughing at it

After I finally got in my last test result (a-okay heart, kidneys, metabolic system, thyroid, and nutrition levels), I also learned that my parent's cancer was successfully removed and hadn't spread. So with that and the chance of my roommate getting a cat this weekend, everything feels a lot better
A reminder to never buy a rug online sight unseen
A new little friend around this apartment (would I be it's cool aunt?) would be a nice distraction. I'm going to head to the coast too soon and just really try to chill out on a cosmic level
And if I don't have a wild medical bill I'm putting a big chunk away for a trip to Italy in the Spring👍
Getting my feedback from this past semester of teaching really warmed my heart. I can't wait to jump back in next semester with my two courses and do the three things I love most within education: teach personal style, how to make a multi-facited career post-grad, and how to be kinder to yourself
