"Augeas"
Griffeath's "Cyclic Demons" cellular automaton, where a cell changes to the next state in the sequence if it has sufficient neighbours in that state. Instead of a N, E, S, W neighbourhood with a threshold of 1, as is "traditional", here a 5*5 neighbourhood with a threshold of 5 for 8 states is used.
