Yesterday, the Justice Department appointed what appears to be an ICE lawyer to handle immigration habeas cases for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Colorado. I'm not sure I've seen this before, notwithstanding the huge volume of habeas litigation here. It begs the question: how many AUSA's have left?

It's sad to see Ardent shut down. Ardent was the most important and successful studio in Memphis, beginning in the late 1960s. I spent a lot of time there and have many fine memories. I loved that the studio and my hometown were a magnet for so many artists.
