I used to just add DOIs to my Academia .edu profile, just in case people find me there.
Just tried to do that with a recent paper and it looks like the only way is to actually upload a PDF. No metadata only allowed.

Before you get warm feelings about this story, keep in mind it was **labour and contract protections** that got these people back. Not some grand realization that Librarianship is necessary. Get unionized people.
