But the government has a track record of approving energy-hungry data centres in the name of AI, huge developments all considered in isolation.
The remaining green spaces around Denham are precious. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. It’s as simple as that.

This latest proposal is speculative and submitted outside the Bucks Local Plan. Its paltry version of mitigation merely extends to retaining some trees, and planting a few more. Hopeless.

One of the most extraordinary survivals in the Colne Valley Regional Park. As our picture shows, this ancient landscape is now hemmed in on all sides by creeping urbanisation, but it retains a unique atmosphere that gives no hint of this on the ground.

Staines Moor is one of the most ecologically important ancient habitats in the #London area. It has not been ploughed, and no fertilizer nor pesticides used, for 1000 years. The Yellow Meadow Ant hills are thought to be around 200 years old.
