On Sunday, our members placed flyers around Forbes Vice Chairman Mike Perlis’s hometown. Perlis has been absent from bargaining for years, despite our calls for fair wages and workplace protections.
Management has no excuses. Forbes employees deserve a fair contract, and we will win one.
At bargaining this month, the @forbes.com management team was in full refusal mode, coming to the table with exactly nothing when the union arrived ready to negotiate with six counters.
Today, our members distributed fliers outside the Forbes Iconoclast summit to let management know we deserve a fair contract.
Four years into bargaining, Forbes is still proposing wages that do not keep up with inflation.
